With an overall height of just 0.74 inches, Transcend's Very Low Profile DDR3-1600 Registered DIMMs are specifically designed for use in space-restricted 1U (or thinner) blade servers and embedded systems. Vertical insertion of these modules allows installation of more modules than angled slots, and allows for better airflow and heat dissipation.
