Why does my digital camera/camcorder always stop recording a few minutes after I start to record Full HD videos at 1920 x 1080 resolution even if the SDHC card has enough storage space?

Category : Setup / Operation
SDHC cards are formatted to FAT32, a file type that does not support files larger than 4GB. Since Full HD videos tend to be large, it is likely that your camera/camcorder stops recording when the file size reaches the 4GB limit a few minutes after you start to record. To get a better HD recording experience, you can choose from the next-generation SDXC cards. Preformatted to exFAT, SDXC cards are designed to support files larger than 4GB. All you have to do is to make sure that your camera/camcorder supports exFAT file system format.
